Primitive Beginnings, a small, locally-owned boutique, re-opened on Main Street just over a year ago and now we are faced with similar devastation to the most recent flood in 2016.
As many are aware, on May 27th, 2018 another disastrous flood hit Ellicott City and the surrounding areas. Primitive Beginnings is one of many shops on Main Street that has been immensely affected. We take great pride in creating many of our own designs and products, all of which will have to be remade due to the devastation. We are saddened for the temporary job loss of those who are employed at our Main Street store location. With over 3 months of lost revenue expected, we are estimating $20k in losses.
We want nothing more than to see our beloved town rebuilt with the help it needs and deserves. This is why we are asking for your help!
With your donation, you are helping not only to rebuild this community, but to maintain jobs for over 5 of our store employees, rebuild damages to our store and it's foundation, and restore the vision and love that embodies Primitive Beginnings.
