PRIME MANIFESTO
Twenty-three; a normal prime number on the surface, in fact one of the most commonly known. Twenty-three; a not so common assortment of individuals, who more than two years ago, didn’t even know of one another’s existence. Yet now, two years later, we exist as one family. None of us know who we will be, what we will be, or where we will be in twenty-three years. But for two days, we know exactly where and who we are; 23 together.
We have stayed up and lost sleep together; We have laughed, cried, and fought with one another. We have traveled across the state and across the world together. Most importantly, we have inspired, admired, and motivated one another in times of self doubt.
This final show is not just a showcase of classmates, but a labor of love between friends. All uniquely talented and hardworking, we each say farewell to a journey that left us with new outlooks not only on design, but life. What we have created here is only the beginning, and even after twenty-three becomes a solo adventure of one, we will still be Prime.
THE LAST HOORAH!
Our class has been working very hard to put together a remarkable show as our final chapter at California State University Long Beach comes to a close. The 23 of us began the BFA Graphic Design program 2 years ago in the Spring of 2015 and are here now graduating Fall 2016. Yay us!
This show will highlight the work of incredibly creative individuals as well as collaborations within our class. This space for two days will be a place of celebration from thinkers and doers; designers.
For a show like this, it does take a little magic and a bit of money to bring it to life. Our Senior Show is 100% self funded and over the last couple years we have fundraised as well as each semester contributed our own dues in preparation. But we could always use some more help from our friends, family and all our supporters!
Where does this moolah go?
All the money we have raised and the money we hope to raise from this campaign will go towards venue costs (which include rental and workers) as well as all the costs for set up and printing!
Therefore, we'd greatly appreciate any help or donations you could spare, even just those couple coins you find in the couch cushions would be a wonderful contribution.
