Sunday morning our sweet Preslie Jean was shot in the head during a road rage incident in Port Saint Lucie. Preslie is currently in critical condition in ICU  at St. Mary's Children's hospital in West Palm Beach. She had emergency surgery to have part of her brain removed due to the gun shot wound and part of her skull removed to allow for her brain to swell. She is currently in an induced a coma to allow her brain to rest and heal.Preslie has a long road of healing ahead of her and I'm sure many obstacles to over come and she needs her mom Christie (Nikki) Jenkinsby her side every step of the way. As you can imagine her mom will not be back to work for a long time but the bills will still be coming every month. We ask at this time most importantly that everybody please pray for our sweet Preslie and her healing and recovery! If you feel led to donate please do, I know everything will be appreciated and will ease the burden on Preslie's mom. I will update this as updates become available. Thank you all for your prayers for our sweet girl

Update! Miss Preslie has been moved to the childrens rehab floor the last few weeks and is doing great!! Preslie is healing well but still has some difficulties to overcome. She has some paralysis on her left side, especially her left arm. She is learning to walk and do things on her own again. She spends many hours a day in therapy and is making great progress. She will still need a skull replacement sometime in the future. We are thankful to still have our sweet girl here with us, she truly is a miracle! Please continue to pray for Preslie and family as their fight is far from over but just beginning as Preslie relearn to be independent again. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and donations, all donations will go towards Preslie's medical expenses, to help pay to the bills that continue to come even though Nikki is not able to work at this time. There are also still questions of whether Preslie's skull replacement will be covered by insurance or not so money is being put away for that. God Bless you all for all that you've done to help Preslie and family, it has helped more than you know.
