What passion you ask – our passion for everything Celtic.
Our passion blossomed from participating in our local Irish and Scottish organizations as well as attending and helping with Celtic festivals.
Our love of things Irish, Scottish, Welsh, etc. exploded into the grand opening of our first shop in Tidewater Virginia, in 2010. Pixie Treasures Celtic Shoppe, PTCS, was born. . Here you'll find merchandise including beautiful Celtic jewelry with Celtic Knots, Claddaghs, Thistles, etc. from the 7 traditional Celtic Nations.
We also sell all sorts of Celtic Wall décor, ceramics, CDs, T-shirts, toys, capes, tapestries, Coats of Arms, Shields, swords as well as Kilts and Kilt Accessories.
We make a lot of our merchandise as well as supporting and buying from other local artisans. Custom orders are welcome!
Many weekends find PTCS vending at Celtic Festivals, Renaissance Faires, or local festivals.
Our Pixie Treasures “family”share this passion and all have a great time talking with customers about Celtic History, culture, traditions, music, myths, etc.
We also support our more than 10 local Celtic organizations, activities, sports teams, and pubs in numerous ways.
So why this campaign? What do we want from you?
The economy has really hurt our shop monetarily, and we’ve been forced to make several costly moves (In Malls). We love our new “permanent, non-in-the-mall location and would love to stay here for a long time, as the base of operations for our myriad activities.
Have you heard or read “The Outlander” by Diana Gabaldon? We host a twice a month Outlander get-together, where we watch an episode, get a quiz, and maybe a prize, while all having a grand time.
But sad to say, without your help we may have to close our doors as many other Celtic stores have recently. Please don’t let the passion fade, and send whatever contribution you can to Pixie Treasures Celtic Shoppe to help keep us alive.
