Help for Prema Dhavamani's family..

Prema Dhavamani wife of Vinodh passed away May 14 2019 evening 4:14 pm EST . She was diagnosed with cancer in 2016 June and her battle against it continued till her end. She was diagnosed with osteo sarcoma a bone related cancer but for her it started near left chest cavity near wind pipe and started pushing her lungs. At one point it grew large enough to push her lungs and lungs pushed her heart causing her heart beat go up to 130 instead of 72. All  treatments including several  surgeries (including removal of lung) and chemotherapy sessions didn''t help to save her life. On May 2nd she stopped responding when she was alone with her kids. Young Kids having no clue on how to react called 911. They took her to emergency where they thought it is seizure and put her in ventilation for 3 days , no seizure observed but low sodium content in her body led to a brain swelling. Treatment provided to increase the sodium level helped to stabilize her and to come out of ventilation for a short duration. 3 Days later pneumonia attacked and with her lung capacity it became very difficult for her to breathe. This time she decided to not fight which she did for last 3 years and requested the hospital to stop all the treatment. An hour later hospital requested to bring the kids from school as they felt Prema is in her last few hours in this world. Evening 4:14 pm EST she passed away and her soul rest in peace. It was her end.

She is survived by her husband  Vinodh and two kids Harshini (14) and Dipti (12) . While the loss to  Prema's family is going through cannot be compensated in any way we Friends are trying to help her family financially  to cover some of the medical expenses and for any immediate needs.
