As a first time author and the first in my family, I would like your support for my book. 'Growing Up Black in America Without Experiencing Racism: A New Reality and Hope for the Future' is my message/wake up call to Americans to address their deep seated prejudices. This book contains much knowledge I have acquired, facts, and my own personal experiences all wrapped up into a masterpiece of truth.
I speak about subjects such as stereotypes, the power of our strong black ancestors, and our ruined culture today as well as giving solutions to fixing many problems. My purpose in writing this book is to help the black community and America heal and move forward. Letting go of the past and embracing everyone of all races as a brother and sister are two of the many solutions I suggest.
The money raised will go to the production of the book and also a book tour within the states. I would like to speak to teenagers across the country about raising their self-esteem, ways to counteract bullying, and to create an overall feeling of togetherness for them.
UPDATE: The book is now published to Kindle, the physical copy will be available as soon as I approve the proofs.

BACK OF BOOK COVER: Growing Up Black in America Without Experiencing Racism: A New Reality and Hope for the Future is a culmination of facts, truths, solutions, and my own personal experiences. As a 29 year old black woman in America, I have literally never experienced racism. Therefore, I bring awareness to the many issues I have faced. Sadly, I have been torn down, abused, and my self-esteem lowered by those of my own race. I recognize racism as no longer the biggest problem that is plaguing the black community by bringing awareness to the many other issues that are. My purpose in writing this book is to make people consciously aware of the way that we treat each other. I want to help the black community acknowledge the many issues that are ignored so we can actively work on fixing them together; which in turn helps society become better. If we can't fix the world for us then we should unselfishly aim to fix it for younger generations because they deserve better. I hope these words cause a stir in you so that you begin using your voice for change as well. My intent is only to help our world become better TOGETHER.
