Support for Orlando
A few friends and I are working on a way to raise financial support for the families of our lost neighbors and loved ones. I welcome any and all ideas and support in these efforts. Plenty of parents will have to bury their children this week and the last thing they should have to worry about is how to pay for it. We as one city and even one nation were all victims of an unspeakable hate crime this morning. Now is the time to unite and take back our power. I encourage everyone affected by this inexcusable act to do get involved and do something. DO ANYTHING!
My name is James Lormand and I am a local resident here in Orlando. My address stands 5 minutes from where this horrible act took place. As a member of the immediate community I want to raise support financially and otherwise for the families of our lost residents. Today I was able to make contact with the GLBT Center in Orlando through whom all funds raised will be redistrubuted. Once our goal is met I will hand all donations over to executive director DeCarlo.
