Prayers for Bri & Scotty

Donation protected
On the evening of Monday November 23, twelve year old Bri Blumenthal was hit by a car while riding her bicycle on Colington Road crossing from First Flight Middle School to the Wright Brother's Memorial Monument when the driver of the car was blinded by the sunlight and ran the red light.

We as an Outer Banks community pride ourselves in taking care of our own and right now, we need that communal bond more than ever! Bri is currently on life support in the Intensive Care Unit fighting for her life with a tremendous amount of brain swelling.

The bond between a single father and daughter can be no stronger than Bri and Scotty's. After years of friendship and working side by side with Scotty, I have had the privilege of seeing that bond firsthand and it is one of the most prevalent I have ever seen. That man loves that little girl and she is his world.

In the aftermath of such a tragedy, the financial implications are devastating as we all can imagine. We want to be able to use this money so generously donated by the community, friends and family to help offset the medical expenses and give Scotty the assurance that he can spend the time he needs to be by Bri's side and not have the burden of worrying about how these bills be paid.

And this is where you come in- we need your help! Please share our page to your social media accounts and donate whatever you can spare because every donation, no matter how big or small, is a blessing and will help more than you know! Thank you so much and please continue to pray for Bri and Scotty.
