Braylen's Journey with Leukemia
On 10/6/16 at 11pm our 5 year old son Braylen was diagnosed with Hypodiploid acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) He already has a daily struggle with autism as well. He had to stay in the hospital for a week. There he had many test done and procedures. He has had a total of 8 Lumbar puncture, 2 bone marrow biopsy , a iv port but in. Has had a total of 7 Blood transfusions, 6 platelet transfusions. Has had weekely chemotherapy. And now we have been told he will have to have a bone marrow transplant. This transplant is very seriously he will be hospitalized for 4-6 weeks and go through radiation so he will have no immunity to fight off infections, flu or any kinda sickness. It will happen sometime mid February 2017. We are waiting for a donor for him. This page is to help with medicines and past medical bills and other expenses for him. Although we have health insurance its not paying for everything. I myself can not work. I would miss to much work for doctor visits, hospital stays, surgery's and ect. Braylen is unable to go to school, darecare, a babysitter cause of the risk of getting sick from others. We are asking for some help anything will help us. Braylen is such a wonderful, strong, brave boy. He will fight and make it through this. He his just incredible.
