Prayers for Nicholas

Last night Nicholas Blazek seemed to lose function of his legs and was spaced out while visiting family in Murphy, NC. After emergency services cleared him with dehydration his wife, Sanekia, had to call 911 again because he showed symptoms of a stroke. At this point she made the decision to have him air lifted to Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga, TN. 

When Sanekia and her family arrived at the hospital after driving two hours the hospital had just finished the CT scan where they were told he had a seizure and that they found a large mass on his brain. He was then taken for an MRI and moved to Neuro ICU. He's had a few more CT scans and an EEG. The neurosurgeon has decided that Nick needs to have a craniotomy to remove the mass. At this time it is unknown if it is benign or cancerous.

Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10am. At this time Sanekia will be in Chattanooga with him all week. They hope to be released next Sunday pending his rehab after surgery.

Sanekia isn’t one to ask for help, but in this instance she is asking. If you will please pray for Nick, Sanekia, baby Blazek, surgeons and nurses it would be greatly appreciated. It is uncertain how long Nick will be out work, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
