Prayers for Fiorini Family

on behalf of Aaron Fiorini
 SPOKANE, WA
THIS MOM IS A HERO...ANGEL FIORINI SAVED THE LIVES OF HER 3 CHILDREN FROM A FIRE WITHOUT ONE THOUGHT OF HER OWN LIFE!

If anyone knows this family, they know that they are the most loving, helpful, and compassionate family there is. There isn't anything that they wouldn't do for anyone.

Early Saturday morning around 12 a.m., The Fiorini home went ablaze while Angel and the 3 children ...Rosalie 18 months old, Vinny 3 years old, and Gianna 7 years old were sleeping. Angel woke up from her sleep to the smell of smoke and the house in flames. She grabbed the two younger children, and got them outside to safety. She went back into the burning home to get her oldest daughter Gianna. Upon getting Gianna closer to safety, she eventually collapsed in the doorway. At this point, they were both still in the home. A man who happened to be passing by, stopped to pull Angel from the burning home when she was unconscious. He went back in another time to get Gianna and eventually brought them both to safety.

The two younger children sustained more minimal burns and smoke inhalation were admitted to Spokane local hospital where Aaron (the father and husband) remained with them. They have been discharged from the hospital late Sunday afternoon.

Upon discharge Aaron rushed to Seattle to be with his wife Angel and their oldest daughter Gianna as they were both airlifted to Harborview Medical Center with severe burns and trauma. They remain in CRITICAL CONDITION but are slowly showing signs of progression.

Angel sustained 43% of her body with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Gianna 14% of her body with 2nd degree burns. It has been a balancing act for the physicans, nurses, and specialists but we have faith that they will continue to heal as expected.

The famiy has literally LOST EVERYTHING except for a few family photographs and most importantly EACHOTHER!!!

We have set up  GoFundMe Donation site here and ask the family, friends, and community for their support. Our goal is to help the Fiorini Family of 5 obtain a new residence, along with the essentials they will need to get by for these next upcoming months of healing and transition.

Healing is going to be a long process and any amount of support is greatly appreciated. If you are not able to donate monetarily, you can continue to help by showing your love and support for this is what makes them stronger every day that goes by. Prayers are also needed for the family, friends, community, medical responders, providers, firefighters, healthcare professionals, etc.

We have also set up a facebook page for donations for lightly used and new household items. Here you can also find fundraisers and benefit information on dates and locations to upcoming events in the Seattle and Spokane areas.

God Bless you all and again THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE and SUPPORT!

It's been six months and our family has been incredibly blessed by God!
We can't thank you all enough who have shared our story and donated allowing us to get through these crucial months of healing and rebuilding.
Gianna has made a full recovery with some minor scaring on her arms and face and a larger more painful scar across her belly, this was a third degree burn that was healing quickly enough to not do a skin graft. Overall her emotional trauma seems to be subsiding and she is becoming herself again.
I, Angel, have healed quicker than could have ever been expected. My lung damage was very severe which caused many complications during my stay in Harborview, however, My team of doctors truly saved my life and I will forever be grateful to them. My entire back was grafted on Nov. 9th and both upper arms grafted on Nov. 23rd. I was released from the hospital on Dec. 2nd after only 5 weeks.
My grafts have been healing wonderfully but there is still a lot of pain as the scars thicken and my skin is very tight. Staying obedient with my stretching is crucial for range of motion. I have about another year before I can expect to be back to what used to be my normal.
Thank you all again your generosity is unbelievable... God Bless!

UPDATE:
Angel saw Gianna yesterday and today. They were both happy to see eachother! Gianna's eyes are now open which means she is retaining more of her fluids where they need to go now, great sign. They are both making a great recovery but still in great pain.
It is truly a miracle at how fast they are recovering although they're still not out of the red zone yet.
Angel is able to walk over to Gianna's room now, and I just spoke with the nurse that said that Gianna is now walking over to her moms room. Angel is eating regular food and Gianna was struggling a bit with this still, so they are still feeding her via tube.
They are still in ICU but progressing as expected. I will be up there tomorrow to give a more official update for tomorrow evening. I haven't been up there since late Sunday/ Monday night.
Thank you again for your love, prayers, and support and also to the great team at Harborview and everyone else involved!
Praise God!
I will be making a Carebridge site to post regular updates so the community can stay connected to their progress as well. I will provide this information once it is completed!

I'm so glad you all were spared! What an amazing life story. -I had to yell for help to save my sister engulfed in flames from a spark that blew up in a ball of fire... at age 4/5 we went through so much. And still do in adult years- Please reach the PHEONIX SOCIETY There are complimentary burn camps in the summer for children affected by fire- which will help your children. find: 'I AM ME' Burn Camp. We didn't have the therapies readily available back then but I would highly recommend it for your family. The Pheonix Rises out of the Ashes renewed..... God Bless Adding a donation soon will keep your family in mind and heart!

Perhaps her parents or inlaws could set up the account at the local bank? Her husband? I didn't realize this site takes a portion of all donations, but then again, it makes sense. There's more than meets the eye of what is needed to provide for these kinds of donation sites. Good luck to her especially and of course her children! So much to go thru but they are young and other than photos from the local papers and probably some friends, that's what they'll relate to, not memories, except for the 8-year-old, and her Mom!
