My family has been hit with some tragic news. My niece Hannah, age 15, was just diagnosed with stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. Hannah was just a weeks from finishing her freshman year at Spackenkill High School when this news hit. She's already had extensive abdominal surgery in order to remove a large tumor and other affected organs. Something no one should ever have to endure.
Hannah will be starting her chemotherapy in two weeks and has a very long road ahead of her. It is unknown right now how long she will have to be hosptialized and what the outcome will be, however doctors are very optimistic.
Hannah has a younger brother, Aaron who is 11. Mom will be out of work as she cares for Hannah. Hoping that the power of social media will help support mom and Hannah in their time of need. It would be a blessing if you would post this to your page, it would be a great help.
