For kids in Kenya, the little scenario above is so far from reality it almost seems like a fairy-tale. But YOU have the power to change that!
Of course, you can’t alter Africa’s climate and shelter the population from heat. What you CAN do is help harness the solar power available there to create electricity. And that’s exactly what we’re aiming to do with this fundraising campaign.
A Chance at Life
Africa has a serious power problem! Only 40% of Africa has a reliable power source, resulting in a huge food waste problem, lack of medical support and basic services that most take fore-granted. About half the local production of vegetables and fruits goes bad before entering the market. Less food means malnutrition and tragic life endings.
The main culprit? A lack of power and refrigeration solutions. Something that simple shouldn’t have a say in whether someone lives another day.
The Blessed Children’s Hope Foundation (BCHF) is a non-profit organisation trying to make a difference. They believe in empowering underprivileged orphaned kids to improve their quality of life by providing food, education, foster care and much needed medical care. But they can’t do it alone. They need YOUR help to buy a Positive Off-Grid Solutions Solar PowerBox and improve the living conditions of 140+ children that rely on BCHF every day to live a life free from harm and full of love.
