Cedar Bluffs' Pounding the Pavement

Every year Cedar Bluffs Public School offers its students an opportunity to travel to the East Coast to experience the sights and sounds of a major city such as Boston, New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC.
Each student and chaperon is responsible for paying for their own expenses. In June 2019, 22 students and chaperons will travel to Washington, DC. The cost of the five-day trip is over $800 per person.
With the help of fundraisers such as this Go Fund Me campaign, students are only having to pay $670 this year!
The motto for our program is "Pounding the Pavement...Where the Learning Never Stops". We believe we provide students with abundant opportunities to learn about the culture and history of the region of the country in which we visit.

This will be our seventh trip to the East coast in eight years. Our students thoroughly enjoy the experience. For many of them, it is their first flight, train ride, and exploration of a major city,

Our long term goal is make these annual trips an experience every student can afford! We would like to build up enough money in our account that we can keep the cost of future trips around $650 per student.
