Pillows For Patients

Hello there. My name is Sierra Brown and I have stage 3 dysautonomia, gastroparesis, and immunodeficiency. In June of 2018, I had a port a cath placement to allow me to get medications through ivig when my veins began to fail. When you have a port, it's under your skin, and it ccan be very painful, especially when something is rubbing it. I began looking into a port pillow for my seatbelt as my port was unbearable in the car going to and from treatments, especially with a needle in my chest. When I realized that the prices ranged from $20-$30 I knew I had to do something. I began using my skills to create free pillows for patients across the United States, at the cost of my business, Chigo's Closet. And I got a few donations to send them out at no cost to the patients that asked for one. Since then i have sent out over 100 pillows, and realised they are not only for port patients, but also feeding tube patients, mastectomy patients, and much more. However, the orders have started rolling in, and the donations will be running out soon. I'd love to be able to send out more pillows to patients. If anyone would like to donate, I would really appreciate it. I will continue with this project as long as I can, as I believe patients deserve to have a little bit of comfort through all of their treatments which already cost thousands of dollars.  Thank you all! ♡
