Polaroad: my Polaroid road-trip

My love affair with instant film started in May last year, when I treated myself to The Impossible Project's brand new I-1 instant film camera. One shot and I was hooked. I started looking for original Polaroid cameras on flea markets and eBay and  experimented with expired film. Together with my passion for travelling, this culminated in a three week road trip last September, visiting relatives in the USA. I documented the whole trip using only my polaroid cameras, marvelling at the ever changing landscapes, formidable nature and beautiful fauna and flora. And I vowed to go back.

Now, five and half months later, my adventure is taking shape. On May 15th I will fly to Salt Lake City, Utah, for the start of a five and a half week road trip. I wil spend the first two weeks in Utah, focussing on the rugged landscape and visiting Bryce Canyon, the Moab, Boulder and Capitol Reef, to name but a few. For the second part of my trip, I will be joined by my friend and amazing model Riona Neve, and we will combine the amazing scenery with art nude photography. Our route will take us to Vegas and LA, taking the scenic Highway 1 to San Francisco, past Lake Tahoe, through Yosemite Park and eventually back to Salt lake City. An amazing 5 week adventure which I will document with polaroid and analogue cameras only.

So with my ticket booked and the route planned, it is now time to book a hire car, look at campsites/motels, where to get camping gear, etc. My main expense however will be instant film. Lots of it. At an average of 15-20 euros a pack it's not exactly cheap and I will need well over a hundred film packs/rolls to cover my trip. 

And this is where I need your help. Donating towards my campaign will guarantee me funds to cover for enough film to last me through my trip. I love shooting expired film and have started hamstering packs to take with me. Unfortunately, expired film can be very unpredictable and to cover for lost shots I'll need to budget for extra film. I would be so grateful if you could help me with this!
