Pocomoke HS Trip of a Lifetime

Pocomoke High School is a small, rural school on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with a population of 326 students, 70% of which are on free or reduced lunch. Students have the opportunity to travel to Germany on a international excursion in order to expand knowledge of culture, tour historical landmarks, and reap the educational benefits of international travel.  These students are all Advanced Placement scholars who have chosen rigourious coursework through their high school years to prepare themselves for college.  As well as academically focused, many of these students work part-time jobs to support themselves and their families. We know that students would be so grateful to have any financial assistance available so that all students with the desire to go would have the opportunity to travel.
