PoCoCo's Singing Wall at the Prague Quadrennial
Donation protected
The Power Company Collaborative, a collective of contemporary dance artists in South Carolina, will present "Singing Wall," an interactive performance at the 2019 Prague Quadrennial in June. Teamed with architect Matthew Kennedy of Mexico City and sound designer Evan May of New York City, PoCoCo has created "Singing Wall," an experiment in response to the much-debated proposed wall on the southern US border. Motivated by their mission of empowerment for all people, PoCoCo seeks to cultivate connectivity, rather than create barriers between people.
PoCoCo appreciates your help in raising funds to take our work to Prague. Your donation will help us to fly five artists to Prague, house nine members while in the city for the performance and cover building materials for the architectural structure used in the performance.
Be sure to follow PoCoCo on Facebook and visit our website https://www.thepowercompanycollaborative.org for more information and updates on the prototypes and movement sharing sessions produced in Columbia as we prepare for the performance in Prague.
Your donation will be sent to Power Company's account held by our fiscal agent, Columbia College. Your donation is tax deductible. Thank you!
