Desert Roof Replacement

I had been living in Hawai'i and after a Breast Cancer Diagnosis returned to the mainland to recover.  I moved to Arizona to take care of my Mom  and worked in my profession as Social Work Director in Long Term care.  Mom my left her house to me, where i now live and also my brother who lives in the Midwest. Although financially able he has not contributed to the care of the house and now, predictably, refuses to help put a new roof on the house to replace the old one that is leaking, before the Monsoons begin and there is further damage.  I am 74, retired and unable to do this plus all the other items that need attention in order to put it on the Market to sell in a rural area where things just aren't selling well.  I seem to have noticed that I am aging, what a surprise, ha! I want to go home to New Mexico while I am still vital, selling this old house will help.  But I cannot sell it unless the roof is replace. 
I've been creative, trying to solve the problem but now know that asking for help is probably the only way.  Its a lesson for me as I have been always the one to help others.  So, I'm asking.  Thanks you for listening and attending if you can.
