Please help Teresa get medical care
That's when Michelle Weirich and Karen Quigley stepped up and agreed to bring Teresa to the USA on Jan. 28th. Michelle and Karen are working together on behalf of Teresa. Michelle is securing her travel and the GoFundMe, and Karen will be fostering Teresa and overseeing her medical care.
After speaking with a top-rated board certified oral surgeon from NorthStar Vets in Robbinsville, NJ regarding Teresa's facial damage, we are setting up a First Stage Preliminary GoFundMe of $7,000 to cover her oral surgery and travel expense. The oral surgery will include looking at nerve exposure, removal of broken teeth, accessing her nasal passage, tongue trauma, palate opening to examine nasal functioning and any other potential medical concerns that will impact her future health.
We anticipate that Teresa will need a second surgery to reconstruct her nose/nasal area. We will not know for sure until she has her oral surgery. At that point, we will need to do a second GoFundMe. Since we have no idea what the reconstruction surgery will entail, we will cross that bridge when necessary.
The goal right now is to get Teresa here on Jan. 28th and to the oral surgeon. Teresa is already scheduled at NorthStar Vets on Feb. 1 at 8:45 am for an evaluation. At that point, we will have more detailed information to share with everyone.
We need to raise this money NOW so there is no delay in getting Teresa's oral surgery scheduled ASAP.
We greatly appreciate all the interest in helping Teresa. Please help us help Teresa. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Oh my goodness Teresa. This just breaks my heart. This made me tear up as I was reading your story. I am sending prayers for you and will continue to pray for you every night as you start this journey. God will be with you every step of the way during your surgery. Please God place your loving hands on this innocent sweet girl and heal her. Amen
Just pledged $100.00 plus continuous prayers, and loving healing blessings. I posted on Facebook, and notified contacts. Will not rest until Teresa is healed. God bless all of you for saving these animals. As a life long animal advocate, I march with you. Every where we need strict laws to ensure the prosecution of such sick individuals. Thanks again.
It's just hurts to see Teresa's poor face and think that she may be in pain. I hope that there is some sort of facial reconstruction they can do for her. I know it will be costly but I will do my part to help to help you out with the cost just so Teresa doesn't feel the pain. I am so upset over what that heartless person did to her that I am signing every petition pertaining to those foreign countries that consume animals and sharing them with all my friends and family. It's important that we get the word out that this needs to stop. That what happened to Teresa should NEVER , EVER happen to another innocent animal. Let me know if you need more money for Teresa's facial surgery as I will help out.
I work for a company that manufactures product to help repair challenging wounds, defects. I brought your article to work. The FDA was contacted and we have their approval to donate product to help with Teresa's recovery. Your vet would have to investigate to see if the product would benefit her. The company is LifeCell in Branchburg, NJ and the product is Strattice.
Die whoever did this. All animals suffer so much in those country's. Its very sad, & wrong.
