Please Help Ryan Wagner's Family

On behalf of Ryan’s immediate family, I am reaching out to the community to ask for financial help.  For those of you who don’t know, Ryan arrived at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center on the night of Wednesday, February 13th where he was diagnosed with MSSA pneumonia, Influenza A (H1N1), and sepsis. Ryan was quickly admitted to the ICU where he fought a very hard fight.  Unfortunately, his organs began shutting down resulting in him being put on a ventilator, dialysis, receiving multiple transfusions, and many medications and fluids.  We were all so hopeful because we could tell that he was really fighting, and fighting hard. Sadly, his body just couldn’t withstand the illnesses any longer and he lost the fight on the night of Tuesday, February 19th.  This is truly devastating.  Ryan was an otherwise healthy 32-year-old man who left behind a wife and three small children.  They need all the financial help that they can get right now, there was no life insurance.  Between medical expenses and funeral arrangements, the financial burden will be hefty.  His family has a long road of grieving ahead, monetary donations are just one way his friends, extended family, and community can help.
