Please help me get a laptop to continue Torus Link

Hey all, so... the necessity for me making this GoFund Me came precisely OUT of me trying to contribute to the very thing I now need a new computer for.
That thing is Torus Link. http://toruslink.com
See, Torus Link is a comic AND a series of videos;
Both come together to tell people about the parallels and similarities that exist between us all--- so that through art and stories, we can see just how alike we all are. Empathize with one another. Relate to one another;
help one another follow our truest creative dreams without losing our way in thinking that we can't, and change the divisiveness that causes us to falsely judge each other.

I have put my ALL in the past 4 years making Torus Link and sharing it to try to make a difference in the world with my story.
Aaand I ended up breaking my computer screen just now, i.e. the ONE AND ONLY TOOL I HAVE to keep making Torus Link, as well as to continue uploading videos----- all as I was trying to position my phone camera in a better way by using double-sided tape to tape my phone to my screen.... TO MAKE AND UPLOAD MY NEXT VIDEO FOR TORUS LINK, WHERE I WOULD SHARE MORE TO HELP PEOPLE CONNECT.
And, even though this laptop is still functioning despite the large crack that now resides right in the middle of the screen, (hence how I can even make this gofund me page at all...) it's not only an eyesore that distracts from me working on my pages for Torus Link as I digitally produce them...
it's also a very APT indicator that I can no longer hide what I am doing, and what I need to keep doing it.
(****MARCH 26TH 2019 EDIT---- now my laptop's ability to pick up wifi is dying as well. Rendering it now impossible for me to even upload things from my laptop ONTO my comic page or to make videos at all. Case in point, I am currently uploading this via my phone, which does not have comic editing or video editing abilities itself; I.E. I HAVE NO OTHER WAY TO UPLOAD ANY OF THE WORK I MAKE WITH MY LAPTOP NOT WORKING. )
My current laptop is a Macbook Pro from 2011. That's 8 years ago, and anyone who has experience with laptops knows that they don't last beyond a good 7 years MAX--- mine is already falling apart at the seams with keys falling off, mouse not properly registering, and software so obsolete that I can barely even use it to keep uploading my pages to my web hosting space ON Torus Link. (It is a Wordpress page, and its own tools are now only completely readable for systems higher than mine. Last time I tried to toggle something other than the most basic functions it had, the entire page crashed.)
And while I've been forcing myself to find ways to work around this, making Torus Link and these videos and putting them both out there as my HIGHEST PRIORITY, with so little pay in return... just trying to get this all NOTICED and SUPPORTED, working 12 hours a day (not an exaggeration), making sacrifices, living with my family, and help them out in turn for room and board, ALL TO GET THIS SEEN for the message its got...
I've also been afraid to truly, truly let it shine. And tell people about what makes Torus Link worth the read.
So as for what I have been hiding--- well, that's my story's worth itself.
Torus Link has two sides that feature artists on one, and elemental users on the others.
These characters on either side live parallel lives to one another; four struggling to follow their dreams as art students despite internal obstacles, and four trying to live in a world with gigantic monsters, restrictive caste systems, and outright threat of the entire world DYING on the other side. And where... at the end of the day, they all connect to one another, can somehow see each other through these parallel worlds--- as they follow their truest dreams, portals begin to appear between their worlds.
The biggest secret of all is what connects them together, as well as what keeps them apart; acting as an allegory to the great divides in OUR world--- between races, sexes, "normal" and "other", "them" and "us."
All in the package of colorful, whimsical 90s anime meets Western animation and movement meets a deep mystery with stories that are not as often sung, of artists and creative types as heroes versus a typical action comic.
And with my webpage itself, I showcase the works of those who collaborate with me and share THEIR stories, as I invite them with prompts to express themselves.
Thus far, I have never relied on Go Fund Me before. I have, for the past 4 years that I have been working on this, tried my hardest to simply earn pay through the merit of this story, and to share it, despite having my OWN fears in it not being liked!! And as such, never quite telling people what Torus Link's merit is, fearing that they won't like it.
But now, I'm not holding back. This means too much to me.
At this stage, I ask for no more than simply TO be able to keep working on Torus LInk. ALL proceeds will go to me replacing my laptop so I can keep sharing this.
