Please help Dawn recover from cancer
Dawn could use our help now!
Update 6/7/2017 from Dawn:
Cancer update 2: My announcement a couple months ago that I was now cancer free was, unfortunately, premature. During surgery they discovered five lymph nodes still had active cancer, which is more than they had thought, so they're being extra careful to get it all, which means more chemo treatments lasting a total six to 12 weeks. I am done with the radiation, thank God. Tim has been wonderful taking care of me; I don't know what I'd be doing without him. And you guys, all of you, your moral support has been appreciated more than I could possibly express.
She could still use our help. It is a long road. Thanks again for all who have helped so far...
Cancer update: After six weeks, five days a week of radiation that made me feel like my left breast has been tossed around in a frying pan, I will have my LAST RADIATION TREATMENT today! And then I'm going to take a long, long nap. Yay!
Dawn's update: I had my last chemo THANK GOD and my surgery is on 3/13. Then I'll be doing radiation every day, but they haven't said for how long.
As an addendum, Dawn's brother Joel, is also fighting his personal battle with Cancer. If you can donate, please consider. But, your thoughts, love, and prayers are a big help too.
Thank you to all!
