Please help Aaron and Samantha!


On Friday, April 13, 2018 at approximately 9:00 pm, Aaron Freeman was in a horrible vehicle accident in Hickory, NC.  Aaron had left home 30 minutes before, to make a trip to the store, taking his and Samantha's only vehicle.  Samantha was home with their two young children, Cruz (18 months) and Logan (6 years).  Samantha heard sirens close to their home, and realized that Aaron had forgotten to take his cell phone with him.  Samantha had both children at home, no vehicle, and no way to attempt to get in touch with Aaron, so she called the local hospital.  Finally, she was able to confirm what she didn't want to hear.  Aaron had been in a car accident, and those sirens she heard, they were for him.  She also found out he had been airlifted  to Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.  Samantha was completely distraught, but held things together so she could contact her mother, made arrangements for her father to take their children, and her mother and step father took her on the painstaking, hour long journey to Charlotte.  Once she arrived in Charlotte, she found out that Aaron was in very serious condition. The accident left him with the following injuries: one bruised lung, one collapsed lung, broken hip, several broken ribs, broken wrist, internal bleeding, and multiple lacerations and puncture wounds on his body.  Aaron's doctors make the decision to sedate him, and he is currently on a ventilator so his lungs can heal.  The doctors believe he will be ok, but he has a very long road ahead of him. And Samantha will be right there by his side! Until then, the family's only "bread winner" can no longer work.  Their only vehicle is beyond totaled, they will be without any income, and at this time, Samantha will not be able to work because Aaron will need around the clock care, for some time.  Any assistance we could give this little family would be greatly appreciated.  Samantha will be going betwern Hickory and Charlotte, but will have to rely heavily on family to help her get from one place to the other.  Gas, food, and additional travel expenses will incur, and without an income or check coming in, Samantha and Aaron will need all of the help they can get or we can offer.  In addition to travel expenses, household expenses will continue to pile up.  Lights, water, mortgage or rent, etc are expensive.  Kids can be expensive.  No amount of money is too small, and if you are able to help, I know this little family would be ever so grateful.  Even if you are unable to help financially, we are still asking for your prayers.  Please continue to pray for both Aaron and Samantha and their families, including Aaron's teenage daughter.
