"Pro" Contreras' Medical Fund

Pro, our fearless leader at Tate's bar in Uptown Dallas, and dedicated family man is in need of our help to cover his unplanned medical expenses. A couple weekends ago, after bar closing, Pro was the victim of a random act of violence that forced him to be rushed to the emergency room. It was a typical long Friday night and as many in the industry are familiar, we were shutting down and clearing out the patrons. A hostile group on the street insisted to be let in, and when denied, got violent. Pro as our GM stepped in to calm the situation and protect the house and the staff, when one individual slashed him numerous times with a box cutter unprovoked. He was rushed to the ER with multiple stab wounds to the head, shoulder and hand. Pro is doing well and back hard at work while his injuries heal to support his family. He is one of finest bartenders in Dallas and a loyal friend, father and husband who needs our support to help cover the costs of his ER visit and ongoing treatment and therapy with a specialist to regain full use of his hand, a bartender's bread and butter.
