My name is Chef Aaron Wilson. I have loved cooking since I was 16. Cooking for people has always been a genuine joy. I began cooking for my church youth parties and chicken wings were my specialty! I made sauces and gave them away to friends and family as presents. While I thought about being a "restaurant" chef. After talking with my cousin who is an Executive Chef at, The Ohio State University, I knew I didn't want to be a "restaurant" chef. So I catered dinner parties, weddings, graduations, and other small functions. In that time I developed an affinity for Latin cuisine. Salsas, fresh chips, jalapenos, limes, & most of all Cilantro were a few of my favorite ingrediants. Cilantro is by far one of my favorite food fragrances ever! The flavor, the spice, and the everything Nice. I cook with passion and love! I cook for people to not only meet a physical need, to awaken their tastebuds, and send them from a Siesta of boring food to a Fiesta!

Over the last couple of years, I have been dreaming of starting my own food business. I knew I wanted to do Latin street food, fresh chips, homemade salsa, carnitas, tostadas, street corn, and etc. However, I know nothing about trucks, cars, or anything mechanical. One day I shared my dream with my mechanic, Greg Buscher. After hearing my passion and tasting my food, he was in. He told me that we would partner up and he would build my truck, almost at cost. After a long search, we found an old dodge RV, she is loud and proud! We have had a few food truck parties where Greg and his mechanic friends came over to make repairs and demo the inside, in exchange for food and drink. I love trading services. I also love free or next to it. First buying this RV, it came with a 3 bay sink, which is required for health regulations. Next Greg found a full steam table($500 value) that a restaurant was throwing away! Because it is an RV it already had water tanks and a hot water heater. All in all, it has already been a fun adventure.

The truck business will be called Rapido! We will serve mexican street food with a southern accent! The food will be served FAST, but cooked with Love and attention to detail. Rapido is "Nacho" typical "taco truck". We love buying local and therefore we will source the majority of our ingredients from local farms in Central Virginia. The menu is available on the Rapidio Facebook page

We are a mere two months away from opening the food truck. My wife and I have invested $2000 into the truck so far. We are asking for $2000 for some finishing touches. The truck needs some parts for the transmission and a fresh coat of paint. We also need capitol for start-up costs, food, disposibles, propane, etc. Thank you for considering my Gofundme campaign.
