Who are we?
· We are a senior cricket team comprising of 14 players.
· We are aged 17 years and older and we come from the slums in Nakuru.
· We want to play in a cricket team instead of joining a gang.
Who is our coach?
George Owino
“I aim to coach the team both in cricket and in life skills by setting an example for them and by building the team on values such as respect, honesty and team work.”
What are our team goals?
· To have fun playing cricket.
· To develop as people and players and maybe even play for the National Team.
· To be role models for those younger than us.
· We want to develop a girls/women’s team aged 12-20 and a boys’ team aged 11-16.
· To grow into a Cricket Academy.
