Pippen's Mastectomy Surgery *HELP*

Pippen had a rough start until we rescued him 4 years ago! While looking online for a used dog exercise pen, we came across a posting that said "$35 cage with rabbit - rejected snake bait." He was in a small bird cage with nothing but a carrot and a water bottle; covered in his own feces. After seeing this sweet little boy, there was no way we were going to let him suffer any further!
He has been such a special part of our lives ever since! He is happily bonded to his soul mate Stella; they are glued at the hip and would be lost without each other.
Two weeks ago, we found mutiple lumps on Pippen's abdomen. After a careful exam by Dr. Kanfer, DVM at Exotic Animal Care Center, it is suspected that Pippen has mammary cancer. To our disbelief, Pippen is still eating and acting normally, but surgery is neccessary in order to keep the potentail cancer from spreading. Unfortunately, we will need to surgically remove the affected mammary glands - let him recover - then go back to surgery to remove the rest. The estimate shown is the cost for the 1st surgery, and if the histopathology comes back as cancerous, Pippen will need radiation.
Unfortunatly, being a full time student and only working part-time with anywhere from 10+ rescue rabbits (all spayed/neautered, indoor, well feed/well kept, loved, and all have issues) it's hard to keep up. So, I'm asking for help!
Pippen has a long road ahead of him, and we are deeply concerned! Anything helps and is greatly appreciated!
