We've attempted to update our "story" to make this as simple as possible. It goes like this:

Heidi Yoast, a Past Honored Queen, Majority Member, and Past Grand Bethel Honored Queen from the State of Washington made some shirts and hoodies. Those shirts / hoodies said either "Job's Daughters Bethel No. XX, City, State" or "Miss STATE Job's Daughter, YEAR."

JDI thinks those words are worthy of a lawsuit, even when the ITEMS were ordered by Bethels / Grand Guardian Council Committee members for personal use (not for fundraising or anything like that).

So we're going to trial over it, June 4th. This case's cost has been astronomical, both in time and actual costs.

We have a high goal for fundraising. If there are any funds left over after this litigation is concluded, all extra proceeds will go to the local Washington State Masonic Youth chapters toward their fundraising goals.

The case number for this case is: 2:16-cv-01573-RSL in the US District Court of Western Washington / Seattle.
