Pick Project

$1,135 of $500 goal

Raised by 29 people in 14 months
The Pick Project is a kid run project based out of Doylestown, PA. We collect used/expired gift cards and turn them into guitar picks and other pick inspired art/accessories (bows, headbands, bracelets).  We sell these items on a Donate What You Can basis and use all proceeds to   fund local music/arts programs for underprivileged kids. We have raised almost $500 and would like to raise $500 more to support even more kids and help them "pick" and pursue their passions in local music and arts programs held at the School of Rock, the Conservatory of Music, Art Muse, Michner Museum, and various other local school/community sponsored activities, camps, and programs. Supporting our project means that you are investing in the innovative idea of the co-founders, Ellie (12) and Julia (8), and most importantly "picking" to make a difference in the lives of kids who couldn't afford to pursue their passions in music/arts. Please make a donation today and help us help others in picking and pursuing their passions.  Follow us on Facebook and Instagram

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us including the kids at Unami Middle School who started their own Pick Project Club thanks to my amazing sister in law, Jessica Weaver. We are currently working on building our Pick Project network and the spaces and places to allocate our donations via our non profit, CB Cares. Donations of used gift cards are still being accepted and so are donations. Check out our FB Page @pickthepickproject for more information. Thank you for “picking” to make a difference!!!!
