Dear People,        1/5/2016

On the night of September 3rd, 2013, after a long and agonizing 24 hours when we could not locate our son Trevor, we got the call every parent dreads.

On 9/2/2013, our son, Trevor Daniel Sullivan, was struck by a vehicle and killed on the west bound on ramp to the Santa Monica Freeway at LaBrea while riding home on his motorcycle in Los Angeles after arriving there the week before. Trevor was also robbed of his Apple iPhone and at least $300 in cash. He had taken the cash out of the bank earlier that afternoon to pay the rest of his rent. He worked that day at the job he secured before he left Portland and went to a barbecue at a high school friend's house till 9:30 pm and was headed home. By the time the police arrived, the vehicle that hit Trevor and its occupants had fled the scene to keep the police from inspecting their car and searching them. The driver fled knowing people had called 911 telling them a car hit a motorcycle. We know this because his voice is on the 4th 911 caller's 911 tape saying "No!" when the 4th 911 caller asked out the window at the prompting of the 911 operator who asked her the same question, "Did anybody see the car that hit him? "

We are now the parents of a 24 year old boy who was killed and robbed in Los Angeles. The killer did not act alone. The CHP has been caught issuing a fraudulent report, fabricating witness statements, fabricating evidence, concealing evidence, concealing material witnesses, and tampering with evidence. That's  just for starters. We have be lied to and deliberately deceived by the CHP leadership in so many ways we have lost count.  It was shocking to learn that our story is not unique. What is unique is what we've done about it and what we are about to do.

We could use your help, we are a mother and a father that have put all they have into finding our what happened to their son and during that process incidently obtained documented proof of corruption at the highest levels of government in the state of California. We need money to continue the wronfgul death case we filed in Los Angeles. So far, eight depositions have been held in Los Angeles. Court costs, jury fees, trial costs, travel expenses, exhibit costs, and expert witness fees are going to be due soon.

The FBI is following the case.

CSE insurance, a subsidiary of COVEA of France, the largest insurer in France, owned by MMA UK plc. is the 16.5 billion dollar company paying the killer's legal bills.

It's us against them.

CSE was founded in 1949 to insure police and firemen in California.

Through a mutual friend,  a cabinet level official advised us to go to the media.

The media?

The media in California has ignored us so far.

So has Governor Jerry Brown.

The CHP Commissioner is appointed by the governor.

The Attorney General is the CHP's attorney.

They work hand in hand.

Jerry Brown was Attorney General before he was governor again.

The law firm representing the defendant is Bremer Whyte Brown and O'Meara.

The State of California has no power to stop the civil suit we've filed which we hope will bring criminal charges against they responsible parties who did this to our son and prevent them from doing it to someone else in the future.

We've always known who killed and robbed Trevor. So have the police. Because the CHP reacted so slowly and allowed the killers to get away, they covered up the crime. Knowing they could easily track Trevor's stolen iPhone chose not to, the CHP decided to just not tell us it was stolen. They hid the robbery. Once notified of these criminal and fraudulent acts, their superiors in Sacramento merely continued the coverup. The police could have easily tracked Trevor's stolen iPhone but never bothered. We live a thousand miles away from where it happened so they created a charade to mask the truth.

We filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the driver/killer/thief and we are acting as our own attorneys.  We spent the last 28 months investigating the case ourselves. We've always known the police were lying to us. When we finally exposed the conspiracy to cover up our son's murder and robbery on April 14th, 2015, we got a letter from Attorney General Kamala Harris's office two days later asking for permission for her to speak to our now ex attorney. We declined. I am now the attorney of record and Kamala Harris has never called or spoken to me.  She doesn't have the guts. More on this below.

Everyone asks "Why" about the police. As near as we can tell, it's a simple matter to track Trevor's phone. Instead of doing that, the police never mentioned it was missing either to us or in their report. Over a year later, we recovered cell data showing someone was using Trevor's stolen iPhone in Los Angeles for days after he was killed and robbed. Numerous text messages and calls from us bouncing off cell towers all over Los Angeles prove someone was charging Trevor's phone and using it AFTER Trevor died.

When we finally learned the phone was missing a month later, the police told us even if the defendant had the phone, he could just say he got it off the street.

We now know everything the police knew about the phone that night.

Also, Trevor's e mail account was erased using his stolen iPhone after he was killed.

The former head of the Oregon State Police Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team, James Pierce, a 36 year veteran who teaches accident reconstruction for the Oregon State Police and is ACTAR accredited, did a reconstruction and concluded Trevor was the victim of a violent act, that Trevor was struck unexpectedly by a vehicle, that he went down with the motorcycle and was not ejected, and he did not see it coming.

The California Highway Patrol says no crime occurred.

The case sounds very complicated, but it is easy to understand:

The first 911 call came in at 22:16:30  9/2/2013. The ambulance arrived at 22:21:47.  At 22:16:30 the guy driving the car that hit Trevor called 911 in a panic because he knew he had been seen by what turns out to be an off duty EMT. Remember, some of the 911 callers were out on the highway driving by and some of them were on the on ramp (also called a collector road) behind the collision area that is separated from the main highway by a raised median.  This off duty EMT was on the collector road behind the car that struck Trevor and he saw the whole thing. He told the 4th 911 caller who stopped and got out of her car to call 911 and tell them Trevor had been hit by a car which she did.  We have her recording.  She is recorded saying she is "calling on behalf of someone else" and she reported someone hit Trevor. The off duty EMT never called 911. He rushed to help Trevor. The driver of the car that hit Trevor, the defendant in the wrongful death suit BC562756 in Los Angeles Superior Court, knowing he had been seen by the off duty EMT, called 911 to try and control the narrative. While talking to 911 he saw the EMT tell the 4th caller who came forward to go and call 911.  The driver of the car that hit Trevor then immediately hung up his call and went back to the 4th caller's car and ended up giving her instructions as to where they were when she could not tell the 911 operator where she was.  He says "La Brea" right on her 911 recording.  She didn't know the area.

Right after that, the caller asked out her window if anyone saw the car that hit Trevor and the guy who hit Trevor yelled, "No!" right on her tape. We have his voice on tape from his 911call.  His voice is very distinctive.  Right after that, the 2nd 911 caller who called from the freeway arrived after circling back to the scene with her boyfriend. She told 911 "I'm not certain if he hit something. I'm going to go back and see if he is OK".  We have her 911 recording. She was later listed as a witness on the police report. The police never spoke to her boyfriend who was driving. The police never spoke to her at the scene, either. The police never spoke to any of the witnesses at the scene because those that had stopped were all gone by the time the police arrived at 22:31:18 including the guy who hit Trevor. That's almost fifteen minutes to make the 4.5 all freeway trip on the Santa Monica Freeway from CHP headquarters just east of the scene. The ambulance made the 2.5 mile trip along the same route in 5 minutes and 17 seconds.

The CHP waited for almost three hours for Trevor to die before they called any witnesses. Even so, the  police only called people who called 911. They never spoke in person to any eyewitnesses at the scene or anywhere else.

They did not call us for 24 hours and when they did they said there was no foul play. They said Trevor's death was all Trevor's fault. They never told us Trevor's cell phone was missing.

When we went to Los Angeles to get Trevor, the police said they did not have Trevor's stuff and they didn't know where it was. Two months later, we got the evidence photos showing the police standing there alone at the scene with Trevor's stuff. The day after the photos were postmarked to us, Trevor's stuff was delivered to the tow yard where the motorcycle was by the CHP.

If we never asked for the evidence photos, we would never have found Trevor's stuff. As it is, we didn't find out the stuff was there until December 11th, 2013. No one ever called us. CHP could not make Trevor's stuff disappear because they were standing there with it in the evidence photos. We got a notice on December 10th, 2013 saying they were going to sell the bike for back storage fees that began accumulating to us without notice on the day the CHP delivered Trevor's hidden stuff tot he storage yard. When we called to say we wanted the bike, the guy asked us what we wanted to do with "all this personal stuff?" That's how and when we found Trevor's belongings over three months later. We are not kidding.

Here's the problem: Both the Ambulance and the Fire Engine company reports say " car vs motorcycle".  The paramedics reported to both hospitals that tried to save Trevor that night that Trevor had been hit by a car. The doctor who massaged Trevor's heart and tried to save him wrote "hit by a car " in her official medical report at 1:34 AM on 9/3/2013.

The off duty EMT who saw what happened was the source at the scene of the " hit by a car" story. He told the 4th caller to call 911 and tell them Trevor had been hit by a car. The off duty EMT told the paramedics and the Captain of the engine company who came in two separate vehicles and made out two separate reports that Trevor had been hit by a car.

We did not find out until June of 2015 that the reason the police did not call us for 24 hours is very simple. The police spent the 24 hours trying to get the fire department to change their reports so they could go to the hospitals and tell them to change their reports which the fire department refused to do. The LAFD guys relied more on the off duty EMT's word who saw what happened than the word of the police who they knew were lying. LAFD knew the police could not have spoken to the guy in the car that hit Trevor and split before the police got there. The LAFD guys saw with their own eyes the witness the police were talking about was not there when the police arrived.

The police had been advancing the story they fabricated that Trevor hit a curb at high speed while trying to pass a car ever since they left the scene that night. They said a witness at the scene saw everything and told them etc. This witness turned out to be the driver of the car that hit Trevor who fled with his accomplices before the police came!

The fire department knew the car that hit Trevor and its occupants were not here when the police arrived. The paramedics arrived at 22:21:47 and said Trevor's phone was not on his person when they cut his clothes off to treat him on the roadway where they found him near his bike. The paramedics were looking for the phone to help identify Trevor. The off duty EMT had told the people who were trying to move Trevor not to move him. The occupants of the car that hit Trevor were the only people there at the time. The off duty EMT told the paramedics and the engine company guys that the guys who fled in the car that hit Trevor must have taken Trevor's phone.

We believe the police were told everything by the fire department captain who was there waiting for the police when they finally arrived at 22:31:18. The ambulance was already long gone with Trevor to first of two hospitals that treated Trevor. The LAFD Captain had to tell the police what the off duty EMT told him because failure to report a felony is a crime.  We are scheduled to depose the LAFD Captain and the two paramedics who arrived in the ambulance in Los Angeles on January 12th, 2015. That's next week.

The police were informed that a felony hit and run had been issued at 22:19:09.  They arrived to learn the suspect vehicle was gone and that Trevor had been robbed.

The police then proceeded to cover up the whole incident as I've described and never mentioned to Trevor's parents that Trevor's phone was missing after waiting 24 hours to call them to tell them their son was dead.

At one point, assistant LADA James Garrison told us, "If he was robbed, he was murdered."

The last phone call Trevor ever made was to his mother eight minutes before he was killed and robbed.

Only four of the five 911 recordings were ever sent to Trevor's parents.

The missing caller's call was the one that triggered the felony hit and run going out over the police wire.

Under an April, 14th, 2015 subpoena, the Attorney General of California, Kamala Harris, who is running for US Senate in California, issued as certified true and correct, a 911 log so heavily tampered with that the call time for the guy who hit Trevor was erased completely from the official CHP 911 log. Harris is the CHP's attorney.

Apparently, no one ever told AG Harris that Trevor's parents already had the original 911 log, proving the new 911 log to be a fraud.

That's right, we have BOTH 911 logs.

Under the same subpoena, Harris also released a taped interview that had been tampered with of a witness the CHP deliberately concealed from the investigation. This interview was done by CHP almost a year after the case was closed. We're talking about the guy who was driving the car that circled back to the scene with his girlfriend who is a listed witness on the official CHP report.

On 7/20/2014, my wife and I drove to Sacramento, Ca. to CHP headquarters and gave the name and number of this deliberately concealed witness personally to Commissioner Joe Farrow, Deputy Commissioner Rhonda Preito, Chief Warren Stanley, and Lt. Josh Ehlers who were all in attendance.

We knew of his existence but we did not know his name when we filed a citizen's complaint on Feb. 2, 2014, but CHP, after ignoring us for over 6 months when they could have easily contacted this concealed witness because his girlfriend is a witness listed on their official report, was now forced to interview her boyfriend or THEY would be guilty of continuation of a conspiracy to commit fraud among other crimes they were already guilty of.

That August 11th, 2014 taped interview was heavily edited and played to my wife and I over the phone on or about August 18, 2014. CHP tried to say the guy was not credible. I have text messages from the guy saying it was "not operator error" and "someone hit him".  I immediately sent a letter requesting the tape be preserved for litigation and it was. Repeated requests over the next 7 months for a copy of the tape were denied by Attorney Jonathan Saul Rothman, special counsel to CHP Commissioner Joe Farrow.

Working independently from my attorney who filed the April 14th, 2015 subpoena for the concealed witness tape and the 911 log, I emailed CHP Commissioner Joe Farrow and others and informed them that my own personal investigation had uncovered proof that the witness statement upon which the CHP based their entire investigation had in fact been fabricated in its entirety by the CHP investigating officer and knowingly, falsely, and fraudulently attributed to someone to whom the CHP and he had never spoken.

Attorney Jonathan Saul Rothman's last day of employment as special counsel to CHP Commissioner Joe Farrow was April 14th, 2015.

Three days later, Deputy CHP Commissioner Rhonda Preito retired on April 17th, 2015 after 37 years at CHP.  40 would have meant more retirement money.

Earlier, a subpoena for CHP records arrived at CHP on Feb 20th, 2015 from the guy's attorney who hit Trevor.

On Feb 27th, 2015, CHP Captain GT Hammond, the CHP Captain in charge of the investigation into Trevor's death (who never tried to reach the concealed witness) then filed a suit against CHP Commissioner Joe Farrow,  the State of California, and the CHP itself. Hammond makes about $235,000 a year and he sues his employer 7 days after getting a subpoena? Ostensibly, the suit accuses the CHP, the State (meaning  AGHarris) and Farrow of trying to get Hammond to skew the results of the Marlene Pinnock beating investigation which took place on July 2, 2014 at the same site where Trevor was killed. That case was settled in September of 2014 and Hammond waits unitl Feb 27th 2015 to sue?

We met the CHP Commissioners in Sacramento on July 20th, 2014. Hammond went on stress leave from August to November. No doubt, the Pinnock beating was a problem, but so was Trevor's case. It was not until 7 days AFTER Captain Hammond learned the first subpoena arrived from Trevor's wrongful death case on Feb 20, 2015 that Hammond filed suit.

Hammond said it was because he lost the respect of his men over the Pinnock case.

Hammond's men also knew CHP had covered up Trevor's murder and robbery and they were worried more about guilt by association from Trevor's case now that a wrongful death suit had actually been filed and was underway.

Which would stress you out more: a settled case or a pending lawsuit that could end your career and put you in jail in disgrace?

CHP still says no crime occurred.

AG Kamala Harris is running for US Senate in California.

Harris is the CHP’s attorney.

These people think they can get away with anything.

They think their power in absolute.

It is not.

Please help us with anything you can and we will prove it.

You can follow the case on line. BC 562756 Los Angeles Superior Court.
