PFM 1920 Dodd Hanger Build
Tax deductible
Pioneer Flight Museum is a 501[c][3] nonprofit organization with the mission of displaying and restoring planes and vehicles from the early years of aviation. We also support a library pertainiong to that eror.
The 1920 hanger comes from a decommissioned airfield that used to be part of Fort Sam Houston known as Dodd Field. We know of no other structure left from this early twentieth century airfield.
The members have constructed 90% of the hangers frame. It has come to the point that we need professional help with the remaining frame, the insolation, the roof and the exterior siding.
This hanger will be the main museum building, housing our 1917 Canuck Jenny, replica Fokker DR1 Triplane, replica Bleriot model XI and many more items.
We will be endlessly happy with any help from the public.
Thank You Very Much.
