Pete Hahn 2019 Medical Expenses

Hi,
My name is Pete Hahn and I am humbly asking for your support with medical expenses I expect to incur in 2019. Over the course of the last several months I have lost 60 pounds due to an as yet undiagnosed gastrointestinal issue.

So far the doctors have done blood tests, stool cultures, a CT scan, a colonoscopy and endoscopy. All tests and biopsies have so far turned out negative. Yet there is inflammation throughout my GI tract. Worse yet, there is a restriction just before the transverse colon which severely limits the number of calories I can consume. Best I can manage is 600-1,000 calories per day.

The next step is surgery, scheduled for March 6th 2019. The the surgery will remove my ascending colon, (including the section that is restricted), then reconnect my small intestine to the good portion of the transverse colon. 

Being self-employed, I had to purchase my own healthcare policy to limit the out-of-pocket expenses. I could only afford a policy with a very high deductible and I need help covering the expenses incurred so far, the surgery, and the post-op recovery.
