Who are we?
The WunderBus is a family owned and operated Food Truck and Mobile Catering Unit serving a myriad of Eastern European and Southern inspired dishes. We specialize locally sourced food stuffs, utilizing the cornucopia of produce, meats, and jarred goods that Arkansas has to offer.
After much calculation and conversation, we determined that with a little extra work, we could offer quality food using local meat and produce at a reasonable price. We proudly partner with other Arkansas based and family owned businesses so as to offer the very freshest and finest handmade foodstuffs available, while simultaneously contributing to the local economy and giving back to our community and our environment.
Any small business is at its best when it is grounded in human connection. The nature of small business is one that depends upon and contributes to the concept of community, wherever that community may be.
We will own and operate a business that is built upon the principles of responsibility, compassion, community, and the contribution to and preservation of our natural world. What is the purpose of this GoFundMe?
The WunderBus is honored to have become a staple of Central Arkansas cuisine in such a short period of time. However, the game of business is a game of timing, planning, and balance, and now, it is time that we focus our intention on establishing ourselves in our hometown of Conway, Arkansas.
The WunderBus needs a home! Your contribution will help us expand our services by securing a centralized location in downtown Conway. This brick and mortar will allow us to better serve our immediate community, expand our catering capabilities, and help us to secure a "private club" permit so that we can offer locally sourced beer, wine, and other locally crafted libations! Consequently, it will add to the daily revenue of all the local farms and business with whom we are fotunate to work.
That's right! By investing in our business, you are making an investment in the the growth of your local food scene as well as the livelihoods of those farmers who practice sustainable agriculture. We believe that we can demonstrate that investment in sustainable agriculture, local breweries, wineries and distilleries, and humane farming practices can be both rewarding and profitable!
