Randy's Road to Recovery

Hey friends and family. I'm coming to you with a heavy but optimistic heart. Our Randy had a series of strokes in the last few days and he has been in the ICU since Tuesday night.  They were caused by a dissection of his right carotid artery.  He lost sensation and function in the left side of his body when he was at work (Jimmy John's), but he has been gaining it back.  The doctors are very optimistic about a full, albeit slow, recovery for him. He is the majority provider for our household as I am already on disability.  Without his income it is going to be extremely difficult to take care of all our bills.  We're not sure how long his recovery will take. It may be a weeks, may be months. We are going to look into Short Term Disability with the company but until then we will try this.
