Pour la seconde fois de son histoire, l’équipe organisatrice de la Course Croisière EDHEC a pour projet d’accueillir des « Peace Boats » sur son événement. The PeaceBoat Project a pour objectif de :
· Rassembler des étudiants, provenant de pays impliqués dans un conflit dont la résolution est aujourd’hui au point mort, sur un même bateau lors de la Course Croisière EDHEC - premier événement sportif étudiant d’Europe, dont le cœur historique est une régate de 180 bateaux.
· Former un équipage avec des étudiants des deux peuples et montrer au monde entier que malgré leurs différences, ils peuvent s’unir.
Un équipage israélo-palestinien est déjà constitué : 3 étudiants israéliens et 3 étudiants palestiniens sont prêts à participer à la semaine de régate.
Le projet ne s’arrête pas là : nous avons la volonté de faire naviguer plusieurs PeaceBoats réunissant des équipages de nations en conflit : Ukraine/Russie, Azerbaïdjan/Arménie, etc. Pour plus d’informations sur le projet, vous pouvez consulter le site internet du PeaceBoat Project .
Le 2 février dernier, nous avons remporté un prix d'une valeur de 3 000€ de la part de Natixis. Grâce à cet argent, il nous suffit de rassembler 4 000€ pour réaliser ce projet.

ENGLISH
For a second time in its history, the organization of the EDHEC Sailing Cup sets up the project to welcome Peace Boats to its event. The PeaceBoat Project aims at:
· Gathering students from countries involved in a conflict, where no solution is foreseen, on the same boat for the EDHEC Sailing Cup - the leading European student sport event, of which the historical heart is a 180-boats regatta.
· Building a crew with students from both nations and show the world that despite their differences, they can unite.
One Israeli-Palestinian crew has already been built: 3 Israeli students and 3 Palestinians students are ready to take part to the event.
The project does not end there: we want to sail several Peace Boats, gathering crews from nations in conflict: Ukraine/Russia, Azerbaijan/Armenia… For more information on the project, you can visit the PeaceBoat Project’s website .
On Frebruary 2, we won a €3 000 price from Natixis. Thanks to this money, we now need to gather €4 000 to make this project come true.
