Help Madison with Medical bills!

I have been dealing with reproductive system - based health issues since I was 13. Over the past few years, I have been diagnosed with multiple health conditions, including Adenomyosis, a curable uterine condition, with symptoms on the severe end of the spectrum. On a regular day, I have usually taken between 24-28 pills to keep my conditions in check. This past summer, I began having fainting spells, minor seizures, and difficulty regulating my blood pressure and heart rate. My GP ruled it a metabolic disorder caused by my meds interacting, and decided that a hysterectomy to cure the uterine condition, in order to be able to keep treating the incurable conditions.

I have always been independent, responsible, and have never been one to ask for help. I saved up enough money to cover my expenses whilst being out for surgery, and had planned everything for the 6 weeks after surgery accordingly, including being able to work from home a few hours a week. Unfortunately, the amount my insurance would actually cover of my surgery, hospital stay, etc was different than what the hospital had originally told me. I did not have this information until the evening before my surgery was scheduled. I was told by family members to not worry about it, but there was a family emergency about a week after my surgery, and they are now unable to help me cover these expenses.

I hate ever having to ask for help, or admitting that I am not on top of everything, as I'm usually the person who takes care of others. I just don't know how I will cover all of this, on top of my insurance deductible in January. Last year, I hit my deductible within the first month of the year, and exhausted my savings paying medical bills. As I also pay for school, and all other expenses, out of pocket, these additional bills are having a huge impact on my being able to function properly, and work on my degree.

If there are any funds leftover after my medical expenses are taken care of, it will be donated to Planned Parenthood, and/or launching the non-profit project At Least You Have Your Health, a resource for people living with chronic, invisible illness and disabilities, and their loved ones, that I work on in my spare time.
