I am a friend of Luke 's -in case you dont remember him
I'm sure you remember the TV series Flipper and the sweet good looking boy Sandy(Luke)
I met Luke several months ago under less than good times. He has been diagnosised with Stage IV head and neck cancer.
Although Luke had a sussessful early childhood acting career his adult life had only very small acting parts.
Luke's early earnings went to supporting his family and his later earnings were not significant. Luke like many young actors now has limited finances.
Thru out his life Luke has always been a very generous person, always giving to those in need.
NOW is our time to help Luke!
All monies donated will go to help Luke and his wife with living expenses and medical bills related to his cancer.
Please say a prayer for Luke's recovery and donate a little to his fund if you are able.
Thanks in advance for your kindness .

Thanks so much for all donations.
When I first decided to help Luke and Debbie with this GoFundMe account Luke did not want to share the fact that he also has early alzheimer's disease .This is affecting Luke and Debbie financially and has greatly changed their lives. Luke has great love for Debbie and is very concerned about her future. Your donations will help Luke mentally as he endures his cancer treatment and faces his future with Alzheimer's.

Get well soon. Loved 'Flipper' as a child and would have loved to have been you working with Dolphins. You were so lucky and what a fantastic cast. I do hope you get the funds and that you get well soon. My sincere best wishes Luke and family.

Luke get well soon ppl here in the uk are thinking of you too, its a pity you dont live here it really hurts to see those who have given such joy and promoted kindness to animals and the environment like dan haggerty and yourself struggle in their time of need cause you cant afford medicine. Ppl here would be glad to have both dan and yourself come live here and get treatment for free! Be sure that the dolphin spirit will be around those who loved them and treated them kindly. Keep in touch and keep us informed! Sara

It seems like a lot of work doing those Flipper shows, I guess some recovery has to be. I grew up in Cincinnati but I don't like Cincinnati. Have a Blessed day. I have recently been seeing re-runs.

In Australia where most everyone leaves on the sea fringe, Luke is remembered as a part of all our lives growing up in the dreamy sixties. I am terribly sad to hear the news of Luke's illness. If world wide affection can contribute to a recovery, Luke will come through, as he has won the affection and respect of so many people. I hope one day that Luke, fully recovered, will enjoy Australia's ocean playgrounds.

Just watched Flipper's Great Adventure again after many years. I was so jealous... you had a dolphin for a pet and I had a beagle.

Luke, I'm just a little younger than you, and I was a bit aimless as I was growing up. You made me want to be like you, and your example gave me a sense of motivation and direction which has benefited me all my life, to this day.
