Cryptozoology is the study of animals not yet recognized by science. When most people hear the word cryptozoology, they immediately think of one of the big four of cryptids; Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, Mothman, or the Chupacabra. But those four cryptids are not all there are when it comes to cryptozoology.
Many creatures have been discovered and officially recognized by mainstream science due to the continuous efforts of cryptozoologists who refused to take no for an answer. Most noteable examples of cryptids proven real are the mountain gorilla, the coelacanth, okapi, platypus, kangaroo, and the giant squid.
It is that well known drive, passion, and adventerous spirit of past cryptozoologists that have led to the creation of The Pine Barrens Institute within the state of Wisconsin. The main goal of the P.B.I. is to provide true and legit information regarding cryptids and cryptozoology to the masses via a digital platform. The official description of the P.B.I. is that it is an online cryptid resource center for the inquisitive individual looking to expand their knowledge and understanding on the world of cryptozoology.
To further spread the word that there is a new organization that prides itself on spreading real facts on what many consider to be monsters or folktales, the P.B.I. is looking to make custom t-shirts that will be available to all and that will help expose others to cryptozoology.
All money raised will be used exclusively for the creation of the official t-shirt of The Pine Barrens Institute. The design has been finalized and the website is up and running, only one final piece of the puzzle remains, funding for the creation of the shirts.
The shirts will be printed via customink.com. The design will be in a solid black ink. The color of the shirt has not yet been determined.
