$266,144 of $25,000 goal

Raised by 6,414 people in 15 months

Hurricane Harvey has hit Texas. Flooding, and tornados have already taken their toll. The rain is continuing and the flooding situation is expected to worsen significantly.  Animals are beginning to come into our shelters and rescues. They will need veterinary care , food, bedding and potential transport, depending on the situation.

Your help is needed to make our goal which will help our important efforts get all we can to safety. With your donation we can accomplish that goal. '4 Paws Farm' is a rescue north of Houston. We have helped multiple counties and rescues in the past and will do so again during this crisis with your help.

4 Paws Farm has partnered with I Love My Dog’s community of over 5.2 million dog and pet lovers in an effort to help maximize our ability to help as many pets as possible in all of the areas impacted by Harvey. 4 Paws Farm is a registered 501C(3). All funds will be held by 4 Paws Farm and dispersed across the impacted area. 4 Paws Farm is run by Executive Director, Nancy Stoorza, who serves with a state  office in Texas and who has worked as a corporate treasurer and comptroller assistant for 26 years.

Please visit us at: https://www.facebook.com/ilovemydogfans/ for regular updates on our the situation in Texas and how our dollars are being put to work to help.

Thank you very much for all your help any donation that you can give!

9-9-17 SATURDAY we continued food distribution with other great rescue people in the Houston area.
AND were able to finally transport 10 pre Harvey rescue puppies to their out of state new life.

SUNDAY we start another week with getting feed and breakfast(for the care givers) to Sam Houston Raceway
Flood horses. They are be sheltered there till their owners can get temporary pasture/stables
For them. TEA has been instrumental in keep them safe and well taken care of. In the midst of
Horse care the facilities needed a little love and care cleaning and freshening up.

The week has been demobilizing equipment and getting food and vetting for fosters.
This will be the norm for the coming days as the animals are not claimed.

9-16-17 SATURDAY We checked in at Sam Houston Race Park and they
Still have 21 horses requiring care. TEA is doing a job. We delivered food and replace some
Digital needs, house cleaning and cash needs.

We had adoption days Saturday and Sunday 2 sleep overs making room for more Harvey dogs.

Again without your generosity our continuing support for pets and pet parents would not be possible. THANK YOU.

THURSDAY – We were notified a temporary shelter for horses in Harris county was
not receiving the food supplies and hay needed. We got into action and Friday
morning delivered water and food to volunteers. Verified their needs and made our shopping list.

FRIDAY and Saturday morning were able to start getting food and medical
supplies to the temporary shelter. They had about 20 flood rescues horses Thursday.
Needless to say it has been a week of victories and losses. We lost a pup and kitty at different
times due to what appeared to be hit by cars. Victories- we have taken in 3 dogs ourselves and
3 cats due to flooding at our place and current fosters. We will look for owners above all and
If owners are not found then they will be up for adoption is 2-3 months. Thank you for your generosity and continued support.
The little victories!

UPDATE 9-9-2017
TUESDAY - Since Labor Day we have been on the ground and trying to continue our normal work schedules. Needless to say we are the lucky ones! We have a dry house and work place to go to. Working with others we have been able to distribute medical supplies, dog & cat food and replace other
Goods destroyed at different rescues/shelters. Without Brazoria SPCA’s , Stacy Suazo all of this would not have been possible. She has been a leading light with her volunteers and in helping the surround small towns and their animals.

Receiving supplies of vaccines/medical supplies were Alvin Adoption Center, Sweeny area pets
as well as Friends of Wharton AC in Wharton because of your donations.

WEDNESDAY – We purchased a replacement fridge for Friends of Wharton AC and an Air conditioning unit for Pee Wee Adoption Center in Corpus Christi. We also were able to supply gas money for 2 different transports getting food and other supplies
to temporary shelters in Jefferson and Orange counties. As we get through each day we found this is an ongoing tragedy for these animals and families.
