Raising money after Kennady's horrifying wreck

Donation protected
Wednesday afternoon my sister Kennady got into a wreck that totalled her Jeep. She had gone down to visit friends and family in Alsea. She was on her way to Waldport to see her other dad, when her back tires lost traction after going around a sharp corner.
She missed the guard rail by no more than 5 feet and was sent rolling more than 10 times down a steep, 250ft embankment. She landed upside down against a tree and had to push herself up from the roof to undo her seatbelt.

Once she was out of the car, Kennady realized that all of her windows had been broken out, including the windshield. The back door had been complete torn off and ripped in half. Her belongings were scattered all along the hill and her phone was lost in the whole mess. Being alone, and without a phone, she knew she had to get help. She looked around for close to 10 minutes and came across things like her tools, purse, and work coats. She made small piles here and there before noticing her head was wet and cold. After reaching up to feel the spot, she looked at her hand and noticed she was bleeding. She ended up taking 2 screwdrivers to help her climb up the crumbling, cliff like hill.

Getting back up to the road, Kennady  flagged down a van that was about to pass. 2 very shocked pioneer electric workers stopped to help. They had a work radio, which they used to contact their base, who then called 911. Arriving at the hospital, she got CT scans of her brain and abdomen along with an xray of her leg.  She needed 3 staples for the wound on her head and the rest of her injuries were just really bad bruises. The doctors were calling her a walking miracle.  The wreck was one that nobody should have survived, let alone have walked away from.

After getting discharged, she started to worry about what she was going to do next. The tow bill, for going 10 miles to the scarp yard, came out to be just under $1000 with a daily storage fee of $40 (It's been 2 days, as of Nov. 29th). She was then informed that her car insurance wasn't going to help with the car being totalled (because she has liability, not full coverage), and they would only cover the hospital bill.

My sister usually helps me with getting back and forth from my son's doctor appointments and with getting to town from up the mountain. Kennady works hard for what money she does have, but working a few hours after school and on weekends at a gas station, just isn't enough for all her bills to be covered. Even now with Christmas coming up, our family can't help kennady out much with the towing company's outrageous expenses or with getting a car so she can get to and from work.

We don't like asking people outside of the family, but with everything that's happened recently, we would appreciate any help we can get.
