Paul Falling Jr. Memorial Fund

The Finnish Bistro family experienced a tragedy on Tuesday December 8th.

Paul David Falling Jr., our 19 year old dishwasher, was violently shot to death in an apparent robbery waiting for the bus in North Minneapolis. This tragic event has sparked our staff to want to do something with our grief.

Paul was very kind, eager to learn, incredibly humble and the most grateful young man and Paul did not have a home of his own. He was having Sandra Weise the owner (and former homeless youth worker) hold money to save for his own home one day. We all mentored him and were hoping for a success story. Everyone has a story and he was trying to find his way like so many people.

We started this GoFundMe as well as partnered with TCF Bank and started the Paul Falling Jr. Memorial Fund.  Account Number 8852800198 and 100% of all Funds will go toward any burial costs then go to a scholarship in Paul's name to help homeless and at-risk youth in need.
