P.A.U (Protectora de Animales Uskar) - Fase 1

“Ayúdanos a Construir una protectora de animales segura”

español: He iniciado esta recaudación de fondos para intentar recaudar fondos urgentemente para la Protectora de Animales Uskar, situado en Huéscar, Granada (España). Han estado salvando las vidas de cientos de perros y gatos callejeros, abandonados, descuidados y maltratados durante más de 4 años, pero lo han estado haciendo en un entorno extremadamente difícil con sólo una antigua granja de cerdos como su refugio. El edificio no es adecuado y los animales se merecen algo mucho mejor. No hay aislamiento ni calefacción. El suelo es de hormigón desnudo y frío, con rejillas abiertas en las que los perros suelen pillarse las patas. Los tejados son de chapa. Hay muy poca luz natural debido a la falta de ventanas y los corrales no son totalmente seguros, lo que significa que muchos de los perros ni siquiera pueden ser contenidos adecuadamente. El agua está tan sucia que ni siquiera sirve para lavar la ropa de cama, y mucho menos para dar de beber a los perros. Durante el invierno, el frío es absoluto y el agua que hay se congela.

Viviendo en la zona, había oído hablar de esta protectora, pero no fue hasta que fui a recoger a una perra que había aceptado acoger de urgencia (ya que no se encontraba nada bien en esas condiciones), cuando vi realmente las enormes dificultades a las que se enfrentan a diario la propietaria y los pocos voluntarios. Fue entonces cuando decidí hacer todo lo que estuviera en mi mano para ayudarles a recaudar los fondos necesarios para construir una NUEVA protectora segura y protegida para los perros y gatos, con todas las instalaciones básicas necesarias.

La Protectora de Animales de USKAR ya había conseguido recaudar fondos para comprar un terreno cercano, pero no han podido avanzar con sus planes para el nuevo refugio, ya que no tienen los materiales de construcción necesarios o los fondos para comprarlos - POR FAVOR, ¿PODEMOS UNIRNOS TODOS Y AYUDAR A CONSEGUIR A ESTOS PERROS EL REFUGIO SEGURO QUE NECESITAN? ¡Cualquier donación pequeña o grande será muy apreciada!

"Help Us Build A Safe & Secure Rescue Centre"

English: I have started this fundraiser to urgently try and raise funds for the P.A.U Dog Rescue located in Huescar, Granada, Spain. They have been saving the lives of hundreds of stray, abandoned, neglected and abused dogs for over 4 years, but have been doing so in extremely difficult surroundings with only an old pig farm as their shelter. The building is not fit for purpose and the animals deserve so much better. There is no insulation and no heating. The floors are cold, bare concrete with open grates that the dogs frequently catch their paws in. The roofs are sheet metal. There is very little daylight due to a lack of windows and the pens are not fully secure meaning that many of the dogs cannot even be contained properly. The water is so dirty that it cannot even be used to wash bedding, let alone give to the dogs as drinking water. Throughout the winter, it is absolutely freezing and any water that is there becomes frozen.

Living in the local area, I had heard of P.A.U Dog rescue, but it was not until I went along to collect a dog from them that I had agreed to emergency foster (as she was not coping at all well in the conditions there), that I actually saw the huge struggles that the owner and the few volunteers are up against on a daily basis. This is when I decided to do all that I could to help them raise the necessary funds to build a NEW safe & secure rescue centre for the dogs with all the basic facilities required.

P.A.U Dog Rescue had previously managed to raise the funds to purchase a plot of land nearby, but have not been able to progress with their plans for the new shelter as they do not have the necessary building materials or the funds to purchase them - PLEASE CAN WE ALL PULL TOGETHER AND HELP GET THESE DOGS THE SAFE & SECURE SHELTER THAT THEY NEED. Any donations small or large will be so greatly appreciated.
