Patrick's New WeeWee Fund

Donation protected
On March 3rd, 2017, I went to the Huntsville Animal Shelter to look at cats. Being a college student who lives alone, I was pretty lonely without any pet cuddles. I wasn't even sure if I would even adopt a cat that day... But then I saw Patrick. He was the first cat I saw and I immediately knew he was my boy. He and I have been best friends ever since.

Fast-forward to December of 2017, Patrick started having some urinary issues. He has developed crystals in his bladder (kind of like kidney stones for a cat). He has become blocked, meaning he can't pee, twice in the last month. The vet has recommended a "PU Surgery" in which Patrick's weewee parts would be re-routed to be more like a female (the vet described this more eloquently than me). This would prevent Patrick from becoming blocked again and after a short recovery period, he would be back to normal.

Patrick is less than two years old. I know he has the potential to spend many more happy years with me. Patrick is my best friend and he means the world to me. He sleeps on my pillow, he greets me when I come home, he watches cartoons with me in the morning, he goes on walks with me, and he is a huge part of my everyday life.

I understand that we only have a limited amount of time with our furry friends, but I really believe Patrick and I are meant to have more time together. If you find it in your heart and wallet to help me and Patrick, I will be eternally grateful.

Much love to you and yours! I will keep you updated!
