Project Legacy is a program that offers intensive supports and mentorship to youth of color ages 16-24 who have struggled with a lack of resources.
We work with youth who may have grown up in generational poverty, with gang-affiliation, absent parents or who are refugees from war-torn countries.
This year we are supporting 25 youth who are in colleges across the country and to numerous high school students. We provide outreach to 20 others who are still on the streets or who are incarcerated.
Our support ranges from assistance with college expenses such as textbooks or uncovered tution to food to clothing to dental care to room and board for homeless teens and young adults.
We are asking for your financial assistance to help us provide for our youth. Your donation provides hope and concrete help to transform lives.
Often times, people think that what they can afford won't make a difference . If every one of our supporters, volunteers and followers would contribute whatever amount they can afford, we would be able to make a significant difference in the lives of our most marginalized and disenfranchised youth.
