Parvo Treatments for Optimus

On April 5th, we welcomed a second dog into our home. His name is Optimus, and he is a 9 month old Pitbull/Chocolate Lab mix. Optimus already had a rough start in life, having been abandoned by his previous owners when they lost their home in Mesa. Over the past month we have bonded with him and he has been very happy in his new life here with his two humans and his new German Shepherd friend.


Unfortunately, Optimus is now facing a life or death battle, as he has come down with Parvo.


We have already obtained the necessary medications from our vet to treat him at home, at the cost of $614, and were able to do so by working out a payment plan with their office. This covered his exam, parvo test, as well as fluid bags which must be administered under the skin, Cerenia, Famotidine, Metoclopramide, Unasyn, and Hydromorphone, which we must administer ourselves. He will also need to make a follow-up visit which will incur an additional $43 fee and could require another set of treatments after this round of medication is complete depending on how well he has recovered.


Please help us in this fight to save Optimus' life. Optimus deserves a chance to live out a happy life with the people who love and care for him after all he has been through.
