Parker LaFontaine's Medical Fund

On Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 our lives were changed forever. My little nephew Parker started throwing up at the gym daycare. He was a little fussy and was taken home. When they arrived at the house he was acting very lethargic and started to lose consciousness and an ambulance was called. After a CT scan at OPMC, Parks was airlifted to Wolfsons. The neurologists confirmed that he has a tumor the size of a lemon on his brain. They put two shunts in to drain some of the fluid. He also had a surgery to retrieve a biopsy and to monitor the fluids. We are staying positive and hoping for good news. This came on so suddenly, he displayed no other signs or symptoms to alarm us.


Parker will need chemo and radiation along with multiple surgeries to try and remove the tumor.

Josh (his dad) will be out of work for an indefinate amount of time and Lindsay had left her teaching job after she had the twins. If only bills could be paid in prayers, we could pay them 10 fold. Parker is actually one half of two LaFontaine boys! His twin brother Carter has blonde hair and blue eyes just like his mommy and is the complete opposite in just about every way. He is being taken care of at home by friends and relatives, but will need a more stable daycare set in place once parker starts his treatments.

     This is every parents worst nightmare and it is all a waiting game right now. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful and have faith that our Heavenly Father will see us through this trial. Please continue to pray for our sweet Parker and the doctors and staff who are treating him.
