Greetings,
I hope all is well. I am submitting this donation request because our home recently caught on fire in the early hours on the morning of November 13,2016 .
I am Quira Parker, the second oldest of 8 children born to Anthony & Co-Kema Parker. Twenty five years ago my father married his college sweetheart and began our family. Allow me to introduce us: KeKe Parker- Bracken (25) a newlywed and graduate of St. Augustine’s University, she is a generational love story as she met her husband at St. Aug while a student and received her degree in psychology. I am Quira Parker (23) and the second oldest female; I am a graduate of Delaware State University, the founder and Chief Executive Office of Fairy God sisters of Delaware, a nonprofit complied of over 300 collegiate catalyst of change, that perform community service projects throughout the state of DE. I am currently pursuing my career in Education, as a teacher in Philadelphia, and also pursuing my master’s degree in Education. Next is Anthony Parker Jr(21), a sophomore on the campus of Lincoln University, and a local Celebrity guest host for many youth promoted programs, he is also the founder of Suited 4 Success, an initiative and nonprofit that is design to teach young men etiquette, and assist them in becoming a well-dressed individuals. Desiree Parker (20) is currently a student at Delaware Technical College, pursing a nursing degree, and also is a premiere singer in the Cathedral Choir School of Delaware, a traveling choir that performs throughout the state of Delaware and the US. Our star Athlete is Shemar Parker (17) , 4 time junior Olympic gold medalist, he currently is in the top contenders in track and field in the state of Delaware, with over 165 medals, he is currently deciding which school he will signing with on the upcoming spring senior signing day. Destiny Parker (15) is currently ranked third in her sophomore class of 296 students, her desire is to finish as valedictorian and attend college to become a forensic anthropologist. Jazmine Parker (13) is the last of the female children. She is a dancer and aspires to become a print model for fashion magazines. Dallas Parker (11) is the last child names after the infamous Dallas Cowboys; he is an accomplished musician, playing the piano, drums and recently the acoustical guitar. He is the band leader for the band called D’Trio they have won several local talent shows.
As you can imagine with each of us, so deeply involved in pursing our dreams, our house is a home to many of our neighbors and close friends. Thankfully, we all made it out of the house alive but all our belongings are tarnished including our house. Many refer to my parents as "mom" and "dad" because they help out in so many ways in the community. We are asking for your financial assistance to help us as we continousously help others .
