My name is Sarah and I dream of starting a small, luxury adventure travel business.
My goal is to sell New Zealand - in my opinion, one of the most beautiful, amazing countries in the world. In New Zealand, you can spend your morning on a remote beach, your afternoon at a winery, and your evening in a cosmopolitan city. I have been here for the past year researching, making connections, and visiting unique attractions that I can share with future clients.
I am asking for $8,000 to begin my travel company. Not only do I want to start marketing to clients, but I also want to try do it completely remotely. This means that I will be on the road while working and working in different environments. While I will not have overhead as a consistent expense, I will have expenses that must be met. The money that I am asking for will go toward internet connection in small towns, an international cell phone plan with data and enough minutes to speak with clients at any time of day, marketing costs for a website and blog, and licensing costs for professional associations.
I cannot put into words how grateful I will be for your assistance toward my goal. I have been a full-time traveller for a year now; before that I worked full-time on a small expedition ship. Travel is in my blood and it has taken me a very long time to find myself and finally understand what I am meant to do in my life.
Talking about travel - whether it be sharing my stories of solo travel or giving recommendations about where to go - with anyone is my absolute passion. I am happiest on the road and I am very keen to share my expertise and New Zealand knowledge with the world.
