My Name is Pamela Williams and I was at New Hanover Regional Medical Center | Wilmington, NC. I had a Hospital Emergency 11-23-24 -2016 and I had to go back to hospital emergency 11-28-2016. and stay until 12-7-2016 when I was discharge 6:30pm. I just had 2 surguries, one for my gall bladder removal and one for life theatening pneumonia which I had two tubes in my right side to drain fluid that had built up around my lungs. My follow up appoint is 12-21-2016 and the doctor will tell me how well I'am healing.
In spite of working full-time as a nursing home worker, and having commercial insurance, my insurance company requires very high copays. Due to our very wonderful healthcare system, for more medical tests to come I will need to meet thier required copays paid up front. I have tried to secure additional insurance, but unfortunately because I have a job and I'm not yet Medicare eligible, I'am unable to qualify for any other insurance because of my preexsisting medical condition.
The time I will be out of work will exceed the time I have and therefore I will not be getting paid for all the time I will need to take off. As we all know, rent, utility and credit card companies do not care about personal circumstances, their bills must be paid or you get kicked out of your apartment, utlities get turned off and credit card companies send creditors knocking at your door. Fighting this illness at my age (62 years Old) will be hard enough, the financial devastation will be decimating. Please I would like help with my medical and living expenses.
My Husband is unable to work because and is on DSSI sent 2009 due to to his accident of falling 25' from a ladderwill cutting a tree limb. So do to my illness I'm on medical leave for unknown amount of time.
I have been unable to work to help pay for my medical and living expenses. I'm a born again Christian follower of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and always believed in "letting go and letting God.". I believe in helping others. I work in nursing home for over 5 years, with a lot of lifting and bathing it's a very physical work environment. I need these funds as soon as possible and any donated amount, I will be very grateful and thankful for this great blessing. Any funds I don't use will go to charity, God Bless and Be Blessed
